What is Seamoss & Elderberry?

Are the Teas Organic?

We try to use the highest quality herbs available. Most of the herbs are organic or wildcrafted but some are not, either due to availability or cost.


When do your products Expire?

It's best to drink the tea within 1 year of purchase. The extracts should also be used within 1 year of purchase. The products don't "go bad", they will just be fresher if used within the first year. Both the teas and the extracts should be kept away from heat and light to extend the shelf life.

Elderberry is best used within 2-3 months or you may freeze for up to 6 months (Please refrigerate and shake well before usage). Freeze in cube trays and use proper freezer containers or bags.

 

Seamoss is best when used within 2-4 weeks. (Please refrigerate and shake well before usage)

How do I brew teas?

For teas with mostly leaves and flowers (infusion):

Place 1-3 TBS of herbs to a tea cup or tea ball. Heat 8oz of water to a boil. Pour the water over the herbs in the tea cup or place the tea ball in the cup of boiled water. Let the herbs steep 15 minutes to one hour depending on the strength of the brew desired. Strain the herbs and enjoy.


For blends with mostly roots, bark and seeds, (decoction): [Redwood Chai & Root 66]Place 3-4 TBS of herbs in a small sauce pan. Cover the herbs with a quart of cold water. Slowly heat the water to a simmer and cover. Allow the herbs to gently simmer covered for 15-30 minutes. Strain the herbs and add milk and honey to taste.

 

Can I mix Elderberry and Seamoss together?

Yes, these two can be mixed together and even added into your teas, smoothies, sauces and dressings

All herbal products are made to order and typically ship out within 3-5 days. Make sure your address is correct when checking out. We do not ship on Fridays, Saturdays or Sunday.
